Dental Lasers
Dental lasers are used in advanced dental practices.
We use a diode soft tissue laser for procedures involving the gums and other soft tissue in the oral cavity.
These procedures include removing excess gum tissue to expose more of the tooth to improve esthetics, removing excess overgrowth of soft tissue without scalpels and stitches, frenectomies and more. The frenum on the lip can be released with the laser. This is often requested from orthodontists when closing “gap teeth” and from periodontists when they cause the gums to recede on a tooth.
